I have gone close to a month or so without taking some time on the weekends to read through others’ blogs or comment on them.

It’s not because I’ve lost interest or just don’t care about you guys anymore! I seriously feel really bad!

I’ve just been super exhausted with… well, everything. Writing a blog post has been like a chore rather than the fun activity it used to be. I used to get excited every morning about what I would write about that day in my blog.

It still makes me happy to post on this blog, but I just feel a little burnt out.

I just wanted to let everyone know that I still love your blogs, and I think of every single one of you often. This blogging community has been such a great support, and I feel bad that I’ve failed to be supportive in the same way this past month.

I even gave up on the Kenneth Cole petition because he took the billboard down, but he failed to issue any sort of apology, so the petition became useless. I just kind of left it up without updates after that. I do have an awful habit of not finishing things.

It’s just become a little overwhelming with trying to manage my job and my blog. I’m really happy overall, though. Anxiety flare-ups still happen, but it’s not like it was. I love my job, and I love helping others through my blog.

I won’t promise to comment more from now on, but I’m going to try and be more active in the blogosphere because I love and care about you guys. 🙂

  1. Amber,
I’m sorry you feel so burned out, probably slightly due to those cute kittens! As for blogging, I’m sorry it seems more like a chore and I agree that if it feels that way, perhaps you should take a break until you find it exciting again to write. Don’t feel though as if you’ve been less supportive, seeing your comment on my post about branching out with my writing meant a lot to me and I’m so happy to have you as a friend. 🙂

    1. Thanks so much, BG. 🙂 I think maybe I just need to write only when I have inspiration for awhile. That might help give my mind a rest.
