First off, I apologize for not updating everyone about this awhile ago. My dad’s surgery to remove his cancerous liver spots will be on July 10th. I’m not sure what time. We have to call in the night before in order to find out what time it will be at.

My dad will have to stay overnight after the surgery to make sure everything’s okay. Mom’s going to sleep in the hospital room. I sure hope they have room for two there, otherwise I’ll be sleeping in the cafe’s solarium. Well, I suppose if my uncle or cousin make it up to Rochester for the surgery that I could stay with one of them when they go home for the night. We’ll see.

I’m not sure how I feel about this surgery. There’s the possibility that they’ll have to do traditional surgery if there are complications with the laparoscopic surgery, and it makes me a little nervous. What makes me even more nervous is how my dad won’t stop telling us that could happen. He always thinks the worst is going to happen.

Sorry for such a short blog post today. I just don’t feel very wordy today. Time to go out and garden for some inspiration for tomorrow’s post. I haven’t updated you on the garden warfare in awhile. Ecotherapy is such a wonderful thing.

    1. Thank you. 🙂 Praying it goes well. This surgery is less risky than the last time he had surgery, but I’m still up in the air about it.

  1. “Some days, the words will lead you to the garden; other days, the garden will lead you to the words.” That’s kinda catchy. I could put that on a T-shirt or something. 🙂 Enjoy, m’lady.
